Synthetic Watercolor Paper

Synthetic paper is used to produce paintings with a lot of texture. Color isn't absorbed by the paper; lifting paint is easy. Too much water tends to make the paint move on the paper, but this produces some interesting effects. Finished paintings can be protected with a fixative spray, and the paintings can be framed without glass.
